Urban, symbolic, poetic visions. Imagined architectures to collect. For several years, I’ve been conducting research on drawing as an autonomous form of architecture and urban storytelling. The series La città dell’oro, Brucia la città, and Interni di città include works created by hand (pen, colored pencils, roller pens), later digitized and available for printing in various formats and on different media. These are imagined visions: fragments of interior cities, symbolic geometries, landscapes of memory. Each drawing is an architectural and poetic composition, designed to evoke and narrate.

THE ARTIST Paolo Carli Moretti (Forlì, 1969) is an architect and illustrator. Graduated with honors in Florence, he has exhibited in shows curated by Luca Molinari (Caserta 2018, Milan 2015) and at the Young Architects Biennale. In 2023, one of his works was added to the Raccolta Disegni d’Autore (Collection of Author Drawings) at the Polytechnic School of Genoa.
